Siemens Wind Power installed the first offshore wind park with 3.6 MW turbines and a total output of 90 MW off Liverpool Bay – in just one and a half months. Since the end of 2007, the Burbo Bank wind farm has been supplying more than 80,000 households.

Siemens Wind Power is the world market leader for offshore wind turbines. With their 3.6 megawatt machine, Siemens has the largest turbine ever produced in series in their portfolio. The turbines are produced in Brande, Denmark. Two thousand people work in the production plant there.
