So: What is the latest about Dot-Tel?:

Pros:

1.) 3000 Subdomains within each .tel domain.

2.) You will be able to integrate your .tel into your website.

3.) You will be able to advertise within your .tel.

4.) The .tel control panel is being translated into 10 languages.

5.) You will be able optionally replace the domain name with a custom heading. This requires some coding of both the backend and the front-end, but it's definitely on the roadmap of Telnic.

So: What are the cons and "putoffs"?:

1.) The developer instructions are do not always correspond with the availability of the telnic system.

2.) Instruction papers are not complete. Some instructions missing, or hard to follow.

In other words: It looks like that Telnic announces the new features, before their system is actually ready and prepared. Also: Documention / Developer Handbook, could probably be a bit better made. Easyer to follow and understand.


So: How work around the problems?:

1.) Find other solutions, and translate instructions in german, for example.

Recommendation: Be patient, and take breaks at tea time...
